Fanny Chan Heads Up ACNielsen Hong Kong

ACNielsen announced today that Ms Fanny Chan has been appointed to Managing Director, ACNielsen Hong Kong overseeing ACNielsen¡¦s businesses in Hong Kong with immediate effect.

Ms Chan is a veteran in market research with over 16 years of experience at ACNielsen. She brings with her a host of experience in customised research and retail measurement services and possesses broad knowledge in handling different industry researches from multi-nationals to local clients including government, banking industries, FMCG retailers and suppliers.

Prior to this appointment, Ms Chan was Executive Director, Retail Measurement Services, Hong Kong. Before that, she was Director of ACNielsen HomescanTM Services, Hong Kong since 1999. She was instrumental to the pioneer launch of ACNielsen's Hong Kong HomescanTM service in 2000, the Asia's first electronic consumer panel service. More recently, she successfully launched the world¡¦s first individual based consumer panel ¡V ACNielsen I I-ScanTM Impulse in Hong Kong.

Ms Chan was a graduate of the University of Hong Kong.
